The Javelina Jundred includes six and a half loops on the jeep track of the 15.4 mile Pemberton Trail, within McDowell Mountain Regional Park just outside the community of Fountain Hills.
It will begin in the clockwise direction, and alternate at each loop (think washing machine). The loops begin at the Javelina Jeadquarters, near the foothills of the McDowell Mountains at 1800 feet, and reach a high point of 2400 feet. “A new section of the Pemberton Trail has been built in 2013 that has turned the section in between Jackass Junction and Rattlesnake Ranch off the jeep road into new single track trail.” –www.aravaiparunning.com
