Pedestrian Bridge near Pinnacle Peak Near Completion

The $250,000 pedestrian bridge on Scottsdale Road just south of Pinnacle Peakbridge road is almost near completion. The artist who designed it calls it “Re Currents” in homage to the water that would run through the wash next to it, the water that would repeatedly shut down Scottsdale Road due to flooding. The bridge was supposed to be completed last year but was delayed because the metal used to create a steel cable had not arrived from the California fabrication company that made it. The City of Scottsdale will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in the coming weeks.
