The 7th Annual Carefree Christmas Festival 2014 
is coming this weekend, December 12-14, in Downtown Carefree. Carefree will turn into an illuminated winter wonderland for the yuletide event. The annual event has quickly become a holiday tradition in the Northeast Valley and is one of the most well attended Christmas Celebrations in the state. There are too many activities to name but highlights include real snow, an electric light parade, a live nativity scene, lighted holiday village, carriage rides, carolers and even Santa pays a visit.
In addition, there will be daytime and late night shopping, seasonal food and drink, live holiday music and dancers and much more. The festival is at the Carefree Desert Gardens at 101 Easy street and runs from 10 am to 9pm Friday and Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm Sunday. All activities are free.
