Course Description

Shalimar CC is a public 9 hole executive course that believes 9 holes is the new 18 holes. Their philosophy behind this theory is in today’s busy world not a lot of people have the time to commit to 18 holes, which is why they wanted to create a course that can be enjoyed by all levels of golfers when ever they can find a little time to set aside. They also believe that it is a better atmosphere for new golfers to learn the game of golf so they can slowly ease into it, and to top it off rates are significantly cheaper.

The course consist of three par 3s and six par 4s, so if you are worried you will not get a chance to bombs away, think again. What gives the course the most character is the finishing hole 9 with its island green that has 4 bunkers placed that can make or break your round.

For working on your game the course has practice greens to make sure your short game is spot on as well as the best thing for golfers in Arizona, a lighted driving range. So no matter if you would like to stop by play a quick 9 or work on your game when the sun is nowhere to be found this is the place to do it, and if you like competition they also offer clubs and leagues for both men and women to add to your golf experience.
