The 30th Annual Leader Dogs Classic golf event (‘LDC’) will return to Troon North on April 18th. They will also be hosting their 2nd Annual Heather Farr Blind Golf Clinic (‘BGC’) on Wednesday, April 20th at the TPC Champion’s course. The LDC is a fantastic event that strives to entertain guests while raising critical funding to support their mission of delivering the finest leader dogs to our deserving recipients; a partnership that routinely improves beneficiaries’ lives with greater mobility, enhanced freedom and valuable independence. The BGC was very successful last year and expects this year to be just as worthwhile! The goal is to utilize the best aspects of golf to motivate and inspire our blind participants to participate, to try new challenges and to succeed. Last year there was an amazing turnout with dozens of blind children, adults and veterans, from 7 years old to 94. This year, they expect another large field of players and have arranged for 4 accomplished blind golf instructors and 4 sighted teaching pros to take guests through the four learning stations: driving, irons, chipping and putting.
