Are you a football fan? Or maybe hockey is your sport? Whatever sport you prefer, Arizona Sports Fan Expo in Scottsdale near DC Ranch has you covered. Festivities will be at Westworld this Saturday, April 18th from 9 am to 7 pm. So, you ask, what kinds of activities will there be at this event? To start, there are clinics, demonstrations, speakers and hands on activities all day long. For example, there will be an Ask the Umps! Q and A with NFL and MLB referees and umps to answer any burning questions you may have ( just don’t get kicked out!). Golf Pro Penny Pulz will be giving a clinic on Putting and Focus, a boxing demonstration, martial arts masters, yoga classes, a mini football combine and much more. In addition, there will be a celebrity stage where you can get an autograph, an auction stage with memorabilia and fan gear, and plenty of shopping. You can also meet your favorite team mascots, cheerleaders and dance squads.
The highlight of this event is the World Wing Eating Championship, with three rounds of speed eating. First round is open to the public, could be you! Next is Policemen VS. Firefighters. Last, some of the best men and women eaters from around the country are competing for a national championship.
