img_2337The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort and Spa, near Grayhawk, has pulled out all the stops for the 7th Christmas at the Princess, the resort’s annual Christmas festival.

The transformation into a “winter wonderland” is amazing. There is a 4-story Christmas tree with 70,000 LED lights dancing to synchronized music that greets you as you enter the festival. Enjoy a lagoon with many lighted features such as penguins, a 14-foot menorah, a candy cane forest, a 20- foot snowman, singing trees and toy soldiers. More attractions include an s’mores land, ice skating rink with magical snowfalls, train rides and pictures with Santa. Join Santa inside his magical new Secret Headquarters, where the young and young-at-heart can have family photos taken with Santa while meeting a few of his favorite friends along the way! Stop by and meet Santa every night through December 24th, 2016.

New this year is a cast of delightful holiday friends visiting from the North Pole: Graham, a walking s’more, the lovely Princess Angelica and a huggable Yeti named Shivers. Meet them and returning friends Christmas Princess Noel, Peppermint Penguin and Selfie Elfie!

There are also several packages offered for getaways and brunches at the resort. The event continues through January 1st. Visit www.scottsdaleprincess.com for reservations and  more information.
