It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and I’m not talking about Christmas. Say farewell to summer and greet the new school year with open arms and the biggest Back To School Bash yet in DC Ranch. This year DC Ranch Back to School Bash 2015 is at the state-of-the-art McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center from 6-9 pm on August 8th. The exciting summer send-off will include floating down the lazy river, going down the awesome water slide, diving off of the high dives and swimming with the little ones in the leisure pool. Pizza, drinks and cupcakes will be provided.
Each year the back to school bash benefits a charitiable cause and this year is no different. This year’s charity will be a book drive for Valley of the Sun United Way. Each attendee is encouraged to donate a new or gently used book for children 8 and under in lieu of admission. The book drive will continue through Thanksgiving with the goal of providing 5,000 books to low income families. Admission is free with a book, and all DC Ranch residents are invited.
