Have you ever considered fostering a pet? Foothills Animal Rescue, located in DC Ranch at 10197 East Bell Road, is in search of foster families to provide temporary care for homeless pets. Many kittens arrive at valley shelters during the summer months that are too young to be put up for adoption so they require a temporary home where they can live until they are big enough to spay or neuter. There are also adult dogs and cats that need a temporary home while they recover from illnesses or injuries. The foster families are responsible for providing socialization and lots of love. Foothills Animal Rescue provides foster families with pet food and veterinary care as needed. When you are ready to become a foster family for a pet in need, fill out an application with the Foothills Animal Rescue: foothillsanimal.org
