One of the best spots in North Phoenix to find entertainment for the whole family is Desert Ridge Marketplace. This master-planned marketplace in the heart of the Desert Ridge subdivision offers restaurants, nightlife, movies, shopping, fun for the kids and live music on the weekends.
My favorite spot in here? Tough call.
- I buy my glasses at Target.
- The Yard House has over 100 beers on tap.
- In-n-Out gets too much of my business.
- Lynn and I have hosted birthday parties at Dave & Busters.
- My kids and I used to make pottery at As You Wish.
There is no favorite, the whole venue is super convenient.
In 2017 Desert Ridge rolled out a rebranding campaign, giving the logo and main entrance off Tatum Blvd a face-lift. It didn’t appear that much else changed; still a destination for teenagers after-hours and there is still a line at the In-N-Out drive-thru at lunch and dinner.
It’s mixed-use neighbor to the east, High Street, offers both commercial and retail space with night clubs, restaurants, shopping, and a comedy club. Phil and his wife ran into Chris Franjola after he was done with his act at the House of Comedy.
Next time you’re in North Phoenix looking for some quick grub or to cool off in a splash pad, check out the Desert Ridge Marketplace.
