Equestrian spectacular, Cavalia Odysseo, is sure to delight many in Scottsdale for the Holidays!

denise horseAmazing!  This is the first thought that comes to mind when you see the 10 story high, big top in Scottsdale just south of the 101 and Scottsdale Rd. What is even more amazing is the show that is set to premiere on December 19th and run through January 6th called Cavalia Odysseo.

The last time Cavalia came to Scottsdale was in 2009 and now they are back with a brand new show called Odysseo.  Odysseo is an unbelievable production that runs for 2 hours and requires the talent of more than 50 horses and 50 performers.  This unbelievable performance includes acrobatics on and with horses, and can be described as a Cirque du Soleil type of production with horses.  In fact the innovator of this show, Normand Latourelle was a developer of Cirque du Soleil from 1985-1990.

Odysseo offers a visual buffet for the audience with a video screen back drop three times the size of an IMAX Theater and an 80,000 gallon lake all housed on an 8,200 square foot stage filled with horses and performers.  This is a massive production that covers 120,000 square feet and is able to wow audience sizes of over 2,200 people.

This is a great show that would be enjoyed by not only horse aficionados, but by anyone from school aged children on up.  Tickets can be purchased through the Cavalia website or you can head over to the big top and save a little money by purchasing through the ticket office (save $7 a ticket). Odysseo ticket prices range from $29.50-$149.50 and VIP tickets are available from $129.50-$259.50 and are on sale now!

Cavalia Odysseo is a must this holiday season!
