Notre Dame Prep, near Windgate Ranch in Scottsdale, will play their first football game on their new field on September 25th, 2015. Bemis Field, named after a beloved Science teacher and football coach that passed away, will open with fanfare on that Friday night. They are calling it a “Friday Night Lights Block Party” and will feature a tailgate style party with food trucks, games and activities for all.
The new field features a high definition, live motion digital score board, artificial turf, state-of-the-art LED stadium lighting and a home team grand stand. Bemis Field will also be home to the hockey and Lacrosse teams. Friday Night Lights is free and will run from 5-7 pm on September 25th before the home game against Sunnyslope High School. All are invited to attend.
