I moved into a Grayhawk in North Scottsdale from Texas. We discovered Fry’s Signature grocery store on Hayden and Thompson Peak Road on a recent shopping trip. We were on a search for a new TV, and came upon the nearby Fry’s shopping center and were thrilled!
However, in Texas, Fry’s shopping center is actually Fry’s Home Electronics, and is an electronics and appliance heaven. But, imagine our surprise when we walked into Fry’s Signature grocery store on Hayden Road near Grayhawk Homes for Sale. When we walked in we truly believed we would see our electronics heaven, but instead we saw an amazing grocery store! This really set us back a few steps.
We thought for sure we had entered the wrong store and had to go back out to look at the signage again. Nope, it said Fry’s. So we went back in and were in awe at all this place had to offer! Inexpensive food and toys galore! From the food, the patio furniture, a pharmacy, great toys, tickets, gas, flowers, and much more! I thought to myself that Grayhawk had the coolest grocery store! What a find! I was so excited to be moving to this area. I even grabbed some toys and sent them back to Texas because the prices are were so great.
I got online when I got home to do a little research myself for more information about Fry’s Signature grocery store. To my surprise, they are owned by Kroger Co., which is a store that we loved and shopped at in Texas for years. This year, Kroger Co. earned the prestigious Black Pearl Award for Food Safety. It is also one of the nation’s largest grocery retailers with sales of $90.4 billion.
We are so happy to have found this store. It makes me feel like we have a little bit of Texas here in North Scottsdale, just a little better at Fry’s Signature.
Oh, and we did get our TV, after finding a Best Buy just minutes away. I love North Scottsdale and Grayhawk!
