Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather at the 13th annual Kite Flying Festival this Saturday, March 7, from 11 am to 6 pm in Fountain Hills. This Pakistani cultural festival is a seasonal event that is celebrated at the end of winter to welcome spring. Yellow is the color of the festival this year, but expect to see many brilliant colors as the sky is covered with kites of all shapes and sizes. The kites are made from paper and are anywhere from 1 ft to 4 ft in diameter. In addition, there will be traditional Pakistani food, music, kids and youth activities and more. This family friendly event is free, educational and open to the public. It is located at Fountain Park, 12925 N. Saguaro Blvd.
