Be part of the muddy tradition! It’s time for muddy family fun at the annual Mighty Mud Mania (MMM) 7:30am to 1pm on Saturday, June 10th, 2017. Located in Chaparral park, near McCormick Ranch, MMM offers muddy obstacles for every age group and ability level!
The event includes “The Original Mud Obstacle Course,” a race for 7 to 12-year-olds with obstacles and mud pits as deep as 5 feet to run, jump and crawl through, ropes to swing on into mud, a slide to go down, and a tube dive that children dive through into a pit of mud!
The “Mini Mud Course” is for children 4 to 6-years-old and new this year is “The Muddy Tot” that will provide fun for children 1 to 3. Participants 6 & under can also participate in “Mudville”, a “town” destined to provide a mighty muddy good time! The event also includes inflatable water slides, inflatable activities, food vendors, open play mud pits and wash stations.
The “Extreme” course is designed for ages 13 & older as a more challenging option in comparison to the Original course! (Anyone 18 & older that participates in the Extreme Course will need to pay a $10 fee to participate.) The course is made up of 7 obstacles and is roughly 300 feet long.
This year you are able to pre-register your children online and pick up their wristbands for the event prior to event day! There will also be limited one-time use “fast pass” for the Original and Extreme courses, so purchase yours soon! Day of registration will open at 7:30 am and will close at 12:30 pm and will be located at the registration booth. The event is free for children, however the City of Scottsdale asks that you please bring and donate a non-perishable food item the Vista del Camino food bank.
