With guitar, traditional percussion, and vocals, Guitarras Latinas capture all the romance and excitement of the best music of Latin America. The five piece ensemble will be performing both traditional favorites and the contemporary songs.

MAY 13-BIG PETE PEARSON BLUES BAND | BLUES
Big Pete Pearson is unquestionably Phoenix’s king of blues. Inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame in 1995, Big Pete has been the powerful voice of bands in the Southwest since the 1950’s. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Phoenix’s king of blues.

MAY 20-HANS OLSON AND CHUCK HALL | WESTERN BLUES & ORIGINALS
Enjoy an evening with local legends and Valley favorite blues guitarists, Hans Olson and Chuck Hall. The guitarists will each perform a solo set then bring in a third musician to play the Blues Maxwell Street, Chicago style.

MAY 27-DELPHINE CORTEZ AND JAZZ ALIVE | JAZZ
Delphine Cortez performs with uniquely captivating style, grace and creativity. Her “scat chops” and ability to interpret and compose lyrics on the fly is truly remarkable. Cortez is joined by a talented jazz ensemble including keyboards by Joel Robin, executive director of Jazz in AZ and the Phoenix venue The Nash.
