Phoenix Country Day School has unveiled its brand new, state-of-the-art $8.8 million Aquatic and Tennis Center. Located in Paradise Valley, the project was made possible through philanthropy of the PCDS board of trustees and friends of PCDS. Andy Rodin, PCDS’s headmaster, says that “the facility is second to none and pushes PCDS to the front of the pack nationally for its innovation, access, efficiency, safety, pure speed and ability to promote lifelong wellness and strong character”.
The project is over 88,000 square feet and includes coach’s offices, locker rooms, tennis courts, a classroom, and a pool/deck area. There are 2 pools, one 50-meter pool and one 25-yard instructional pool. It also has four tennis courts. There is shaded seating for spectators. The pool will be shared with the Phoenix Swim Club.
