Oktoberfest is coming to Fountain Hills! Come to Fountain Park on September 26-27th. This family-friendly event has been a long standing tradition in the Fountain Hills area and will feature a bounce house for kids, live music by a German band, Polka dancing, an alpha horn blowing contest, and a beer stein holding competition. In addition, this festival will include authentic German food such as foot-long brats, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. There will also be homemade apple streudel, huge pretzels, kettle corn, shaved ice, roasted almonds, and cotton candy. It wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without beer, and Warsteiner Beer will be there to offer its assortment of German beer.
Those who dress up in traditional Oktoberfest costume such as a Dirndl or Lederhosen will get complimentary entrance to the event. The event runs from 5-10 pm on September 26 and 27th.
