With Christmas quickly approaching, my family is in full holiday spirit! Here is a list of some of the holiday events we are hoping to do while the kids are on winter break:
Cookies with Claus at the Four Seasons
December 17th, 2016
Children can create their own special cookies, and as they are baking they will get to enjoy the hot chocolate bar, write letters to Santa and listen to stories read by Mrs. Claus herself!
Holiday Lights at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
Now through January 1st, 2017
Every evening (except December 24, 25 & 31) the park comes alive with thousands of lighted displays. Be sure to buy tickets for the train at the depot for a magical ride through the exhibits. This annual event is a local favorite!
Scottsdazzle
Now through January 1st, 2017
All December downtown Scottsdale has events for all! The Soleri Bridge area will twinkle with over a million lights. During Hanukkah, there will be a nightly menorah lighting at the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza. In addition, champagne tours, art events and holiday markets are also planned.
Las Noches de las Luminarias
Now through December 31st, 2016
On select evenings throughout December, the Desert Botanical Garden glows with 8,000 luminaria lanterns. They are all hand-lit and provide a beautiful glow all through the garden. Live entertainment and cocoa adds to the fun!
