ScottsdaleCivicCenterLibraryScottsdale Public Art in partnership with the Scottsdale Public Library continues to present exhibitions and educational programming that strengthens awareness of the arts. Bring the entire family for some “cool” indoor summer fun to The Gallery @ The Civic Center library near Arcadia and explore the woods in a way you’ve never seen them before. This summer’s immersive installation The Forest Floor is by Tempe artist Melissa Martinez. Martinez conjures up the mystery and magic of a walk through the woods – like in Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack and the Beanstalk. Explore the charming cottage, nestled deep in a foggy thicket, and discover the creatures big and small that call the forest their home free of charge during regular library hours.
