Scramble – A Breakfast Joint’s Scottsdale location, near McCormick Ranch, continues its 2015 Junior Edition “Think Global — Eat Local”. The initiative, kicked off earlier this year, supports the ongoing demand for local products combined with the popularity of cooking shows for all ages.
Executive Chef Rick Moses at Scottdale’s Scramble will teach the hands-on youth classes (accompanied by an adult) from 7 to 8:30pm on September 2nd and December 2nd. On September 2nd the youth in attendance will learn how to make mini baked omelets and mini cheesecakes using eggs from local Hickman’s Family Farms. They get to eat what they’ve cooked and they also take home a goodie bag with Scramble water bottles, aprons, samples, coupons and more!
Classes will be held at Scramble – A Breakfast Joint’s Scottsdale location only, at 6590 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale. The cost is $25 per class for youth 6-16 years old.
