As “Work From Home,” and “Social Distancing” become the standard and more and more common throughout this COVID19 Pandemic, communication with our staff, our Top Realtors®, and most importantly our clients, can be a challenge. That is why the Sibbach Team has found many ways to stay connected throughout these Coronavirus times. From a virtual world powered by VirBELA, to Google powered tools, to apps that can be used from our phones, we have found innovative ways to not miss a beat.
Staying Connected to Our Clients During Coronavirus
When it comes to staying connected with our clients, we had to solve the problem of no open houses during the Coronavirus. One of our Top Agents Brandon Vaccaro solved this problem with his brand new listing, and scheduled private tours in place of the open house. Never more than one person (or couple) through at a time, to keep both himself and our clients safe. Clearly this strategy worked, as he got SIX offers on his home just this last weekend. This included a FULL CASH OFFER! The home is now under contract!
The use of video chats for virtual tours and walkthroughs with our clients has also been a great tool. Made possible by apps like FaceTime for iPhone users, Skype or WhatsApp for Android users, as well as Facebook Video Chat. This lets clients social distance themselves by staying at home in quarantines/self-isolation, but still allows them to see the home. These tools/strategies are just some of the reasons as to why this last weekend alone we had 6 properties go under contract.
Staying Connected to Our Staff and Top Realtors® During Coronavirus
When it comes to keeping connected and in communication with our staff who are all currently working from home to help flatten the curve and prevent the spread, we use tools like Google Hangouts and Google Meet. This lets our staff hold meetings with fully interactive video and audio. We held our first ever fully virtual Marketing Meeting by visiting meet.google.com. All you need is a Gmail account and it is totally free to all Google users. This makes for a great way to stay connected to friends and family- you could even hold a virtual happy hour!
When it comes to staying connected with our over 30 Top Realtors®, this posed as a potentially complicated problem. To make sure our agents are constantly presented with industry leading training, and coaching, we used slides, notes, and interactive discussion that can be difficult to made engaging if not presented properly. Luckily for us, eXp Realty is a completely cloud based brokerage with a fully immersive online platform that is powered by VirBELA.
We held our first fully online, team meeting with our 35+ participants in the eXp World. This 100% germ free virtual conference room, allowed our agents to meet, interact, and get educated on the ways we are still helping buyers and sellers in this COVID19 environment. Allowing them to stay home and yet still get the information they needed.
I wrote this so that you could see that we are still open for business during the Coronavirus, but with a focus and cautious mindset in order to keep you, our clients and your families, safe while still providing the same level of service that our clients have come to love and expect from us.
