Kick off the holiday season with a parade! The 24th Tempe Annual Fantasy of Lights Opening Night Parade is tonight, Friday, November 23rd. Be dazzled as the streets of Downtown Tempe light up with festive décor. In addition to the parade, there will be live entertainment! You can also get a jump start on your holiday shopping by browsing through hundreds of handcrafted goods at the Holiday Market. The evening will start with live entertainment at Centerpoint Plaza at 4pm, and the parade will begin at Mill Avenue and 3rd Street at 6pm. The 2018 Parade Grand Marshal is Sarah Sellers, the 2nd place finisher of the Boston Marathon.
The United Food Bank will be collecting jars of peanut butter at Centerpoint Plaza. Help the United Food Bank reach their goal of donating 500+ lbs of peanut butter!
