Camelback Florist in Arcadia has been a local business for 13 years. Becoming a florist was a childhood dream for owner Teresa Wilson. Wilson is an Arizona native who was born in Tucson, then moved to Phoenix area when she was 13-years-old. She attended Scottsdale Community College and Arizona State University before spending six months in Paris, France at the art school L’ecole De Fleur. After spending time in France she returned to Arizona and worked in a local flower shop before opening her own business.
Wilson is also mother to two boys. “For me, I don’t separate work from life. It’s all intertwined. I want to enjoy my life outside of work,” says Wilson.
Having the freshest floral arrangements is a high priority, but Wilson also prides herself on having a comfortable shop for her clients.
Camelback Florist is located at 4108 E. Indian School Road. They are open Monday through Friday 9am-6pm.
