The DC Ranch Community Garden at Copper Ridge School is now open and ready for planting. This garden has 44 plots available for lease on an annual basis and is the result of the community’s joint efforts to continue the legacy of community building for future generations of residents. The garden will be devoted to sustainable organic practices. There are several committees that will need help in order to support this effort. Please inquire about how you can help out your community at one of the upcoming events and workshops. On March 7 there will be a Community Garden Workday from 9 am to noon, Intro to Gardening on March 18 and the Grand Opening will be on Sunday March 30. Call 480-538-3532 for more information.
