DC Ranch celebrates 20 years in 2018. DC Ranch Day kicked off the celebrations in January with authentic Western-themed festivities on Market Street. Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane proclaimed January 27th, 2018 as DC Ranch Day while over 1000 residents and guests enjoyed a Wild West stunt show, live country music and more!
The Arizona Chapter of the American Planning Association bestowed on DC Ranch the “Distinguished Historic Landmark” award. The award is given to places that have demonstrated a significant impact on planning in Arizona.
To help celebrate 20 years of giving back to the community, the Kindness Challenge was launched. The year-long initiative was designed to spread generosity and good will by performing 20 selfless acts throughout 2018. On the 20th of each month, participating residents received an email newsletter with ideas for different acts of kindness.
