DC Ranch News – March 2018

DC Ranch NewsIf you haven’t checked out the DC Ranch Community Garden lately, the springtime is the time to go! The DC Ranch Community Garden at Copper Ridge School has partnered with Agave Farms to continue to provide a communal garden for DC Ranch residents. The garden is now managed by Agave Farms, while offering opportunities for residents to work alongside as “garden hands.”

In the past, residents maintained their own garden plots, now residents will work together and share the harvest. Households who sign up to be a “garden hand” must volunteer a minimum of two hours per month to be eligible to share in the harvest. Any excess produce will be donated to local food banks.

The DC Ranch Community Garden is located on the northwest side of the Copper Ridge School, near the the ball fields.

Garden hours:
Thursday from 3:30-6pm
Saturdays from 10am-2pm

For more garden information and to sign up to be a “garden hand”, call Anjelica Giardino at 480-538-3585.
