DC Ranch’s commitment to being a connected community starts will residents being involved. Each neighborhood has a Neighborhood Voting Member (NVM) who acts as an ambassador for his or her neighborhood. For example, when a new neighbor moves in, the NVM personally delivers a DC Ranch Welcome Basket. Another example is when neighbors have a concern they want to address with the Ranch Association, the NVM is the point of contact to relay the message.
DC Ranch is currently in the process to elect new Neighborhood Voting Members. New residents are often hesitant to apply, but they can be especially good candidates for the positions to help them get involved and to better understand the community. For long-time DC Ranch residents, serving as a NVM provides valuable knowledge of the history and growth of the community.
