DC Ranch Neighborhood Spotlight: Tapadero
Tapadero is a quaint neighborhood situation north of the West Gate entrance. Many homes in the neighborhood overlook the scenic lake that borders Thompson Peak Parkway. Tapadero and a sister complex Columbia Community are unique because they receive the full benefits of the manned gate personnel and services offered at the West Gate. Most other sub-associations are situated behind unmanned gates throughout DC Ranch.
Even though Tapadero is smaller in size, the community is still represented by two Neighborhood Voting Members. Bill Rau, one of the Neighborhood Voting Members, enjoys living in Tapadero because the community promotes friendliness.
