The residents of McDowell Mountain Ranch are hoping to start a community garden. Community gardens provide fresh produce and plants as well as satisfying labor, neighborhood improvement, sense of community and connection to the environment. If you are interested in finding out more about participating in this community event, there will be an informal meeting discussing the general plan and answering any questions residents may have. The event is open to anyone who would like to contribute to the care of a community garden. The meeting will be held at the August 15, 6:45 pm at the Arabian Library, 10187 E McDowell Mountain Ranch Road.
