Child and Babysitting Safety Certification Class

Have a teen interested in babysitting? This popular certification class covers infant/child safety and basic care techniques for current and future babysitters. Topics covered include: pediatric CPR, first aid, basic child safety and diaper changing. Participants must be at least 10-years-old and up to 18-years-old. The price for this class in $40 and includes a pizza lunch. RSVP by April 5th to 480-563-9839, checks will be made out to ABS’s of CPR.
Adopt-a-Road Clean up

Attention volunteers! The event planning committee has decided to give back to the community again City of Scottdale’s Adopt-a-Road program. The City will provide all volunteers with gloves, trash bags, safety vests and cold waters. The clean-up will nto be in the road, all litter pick up will be on the property behind the curb for safety. Everyone will meet in the GCA office at 8am to go over some quick instructions before heading out. All volunteers under 17-years-old must come with a guardian. Grayhawk Curls

Coyote Curling Club, 2202 W. Medtronic Way, Tempe
While watching the Winter Olympics, who else thought to themselves “I want to try curling”? Well, the Coyotes Curling Club is inviting Grayhawk residents to join the the “Grayhawk Curls” on Sunday, April 29th to learn how to curl and have the chance to play a few games. Adults and teens are welcome to this event, the cost is $20 per person to participate. Call 480-563-9839 to register and prepay the $20 in cash or check at the GCA office by April 25th.
