Grayhawk Flight-January 2015

Good news for young baseball players in Grayhawk-Horizon Little League has merged with Cactus Little League for the 2015 season. This will create bigger, better opportunities for our neighborhood athletes.

2015-01-08_1140In 1989, Cactus Little League grew to the point that a second league was needed, thus Horizon Little League was formed. With the 2015 merger of the leagues, along with more liberal Little League School Boundary rules, an opportunity is being created for kids to play in a single league with their classmates and friends. Children who either live or attend any school within the boundaries can now participate in the league.

Cactus Horizon Little League has teams for 5 through 14 years-old. Practices, which start in mid-February, take place in the fields at Grayhawk Neighborhood Park and Desert Shadows Middle School. Grayhawk neighborhood children have the opportunity to have a great experience with their peers, friends, neighbors and kids they attend school with.
