Historic Downtown Scottsdale Walking Tour
Thursday, October 19th from 10-11:30am
Meet at Panera Bread @ 7145 E. Indian School Road
Join Scottsdale historian and Grayhawk resident, Joan Fudala for a 90 minute walk through downtown Scottsdale historic sites. See where the World War One-era Vice President lived, where founder/namesake Winfield Scott and Helen settled, where visitors to Scottsdale’s first guest ranch and health camp stayed and where Scottsdale’s artists and craftspeople put Scottsdale on the cultural map. The Grayhawk group will meet at Panera Bread at the southwest corner of Scottsdale Rd & Indian School Rd, the tour will end at the Scottsdale Historical Museum just east of the intersection of Brown Avenue and Main Street. There is a $3 per person charge for the tour. Please RSVP to 480-563-9839.

Monday Truckday
Monday, October 30th from 5:30-7:30pm
Boys and Girls Club Parking Lot
Take a night off cooking dinner…two of the most popular food trucks in the Valley-The Wandering Donkey and the The Grilled Addiction Truck-will be parked at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale! There will also be fun treat bags with candy for kids to jump start the Halloween trick-or-treating.

Adopt-a-Road Clean-up
Saturday, November 4th from 8-10am
Meet at the GCA Office
Grayhawk is looking for volunteers to help on this clean-up day. The City of Scottsdale will provide volunteers with gloves, trash bags, safety vests and cold waters. No clean-up will be done on the road, all litter pick up will be on the property beyond the curb for safety. The clean-up will be approximately one mile in each direction on both sides of the road. All volunteers 17-year-old and under must come with a guardian, this is a great way for students to complete community service hours for school. Please call 480-563-9839 to sign up for this great community volunteer event!
