Desert Mountain High School junior Austin
Fairbanks, who is fascinated with politics, is scheduled to visit Washington, DC in March after winning a 2015 Senate Youth Scholarship. The scholarship selection criteria was based on a round of interviews and leadership merit. Austin is a natural leader in Boy Scouts and holds a leadership position at the statewide office. Fairbanks is set to travel to the nation’s capital March 7th-14th.
