An excerpt from The Mirabel Post’s Greens Report:
“As a reminder, this summer we will be upgrading our sprinklers and swing joints.
We will be addressing just under 2000 sprinklers who have well exceeded their
useful life. The new sprinklers have proven technology to be more efficient in
uniformity, in particular in a real world scenario which involves wind. Ultimately,
better distribution uniformity results in more consistent turf conditions and an
efficient use of water. Water is our largest operational expense and its unit cost will
only increase in the future. Using this resource wisely is critical. We will
commence this project on July 7th and should be completed prior to the end of
August. The golf course will remain open during this process, but a maximum of 3
holes will be closed during this project.”
