On Sunday, May 11, 2014 from noon to 3 p.m. Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) near Arcadia invites families to take a magical journey on Mother’s Day to see the Museum completely transformed into a kaleidoscopic wonderland for Odyssey Family Day. Each of SMoCA’s galleries will portray a different colorful and imaginative environment inspired by weather and the natural world. Each room will have a unique arts & crafts activity where you can create glowing fireflies, chase rainbows or enjoy the rain. A spectrum of lively characters, playful acrobats and aerialists, mysterious magicians and crazy creatures welcome you throughout the Odyssey adventure. The afternoon also features face painting, amazing performers from the Circus School of Arizona and tasty treats from local food trucks. SMoCA is very proud to host this free event.
