Paradise Valley residents have reason to celebrate because for the first time in more than five years, golfers can tee off at a brand new course. On Tuesday, November 26th, the JW Marriott Camelback Resort and Spa unveiled its new $70 million, state-of-the-art Ambiente golf course at the Camelback Golf Club. This unique 36- hole course features undulating elevation changes with rolling fairways, a par-72 layout and five tee box sets which will challenge any player, beginner to pro. This environmentally friendly golf course was designed to use 50 percent less pesticide and fossil fuel use and has replaced more than 100 acres of turf grass with native desert terrain of acacias, sagebrush, jojobas and wildflowers.
