Paradise Valley residents are gearing up for the reopening of the newly renovated Camelback Mountain’s Echo Canyon Hiking Trail. Improvements were made over the summer that include new restrooms, an expanded parking lot to accommodate 132 cars, nearly double the size it was. In addition, a roundabout will be created in the parking lot and a separate entrance will be built for neighboring homes. The $3 million project will reopen on November 30th. Hardcore hikers love this trail for its 2.30 mile challenging hike that has an elevation gain of 1,200 feet to the summit. Once the summit is reached, the view of the entire Valley is breathtaking.
