the peakThe Greater Pinnacle Peak Association would like residents to know that one of the most important documents for Scottsdale’s residents is currently in the process of being updated: Scottsdale’s General Plan. This plan is important to residents and local businesses because it is the overarching document that defines and controls the growth of the city over the next ten years. The city staff is currently working on defining the vision of what Scottsdale would look like in 2024 and the values that the community feels are important and wants to maintain during the next ten years of growth.

The GPPA wants all residents get involved in this process and understand what is being proposed, to provide comments on each section and to be prepared to vote on whether or not to approve the Updated General Plan in November 2014.
