Saturday October 19th, the Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park are hosting a Full Moon Hike starting at 6:30pm.
Join staff and volunteers on a guided walk to the Grandview area as the moon rises. This cool evening hike will include a starlight night and chance to be in the park after hours.
The event will last approximately 1.5 hours and 1.5 mile of moderate hiking.

Also, Friday, October 25th join the staff for an Astronomy Evening. This evening takes place in the beautiful desert evening under the stars. Learn about some of the elements visible in the night sky. There will be a short talk explaining interesting facts about the solar system. Beginners are welcome and the explanation will be kept at a novice level. No hiking is required, and participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and a small penlight flashlight for this fun event.
