Discover the Sonoran Desert at guided interpretive tours at Pinnacle Peak Park. Tours are offered Tuesday-Sunday through the end of March at 10am. The tours are approximately two hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen and bing plenty of water. There is no need to registrar, but each tour is limited to 20 participants. Guided hikes are also offered during full moon evenings on March 16th at 6:45pm and April 14th at 7:15pm.
Astronomy evenings offer a chance to enjoy a beautiful desert evening learning about some of the objects visible in the night sky. Interesting facts about the solar system and galaxy are talked about, followed by observing the moon and several planets. Astronomy evenings are offered March 22nd at 7:15pm, April 25th at 7:30pm and May 18th at 7:45pm.
