Walk and Talk in Cave Creek

The Desert Awareness Committee will hold two Walk and Talk events at Desert Awareness Park on May 10th and 13th at the corner of Cave Creek and Vermeersch Road. These informative events focus on preparing desert edibles and gathering and preparing desert medicinals. Those participating should gather at the Desert Heritage Center at 7:45 am on each day they wish to attend. Bring plenty of water and wear a hat, as it will be hot. A $3 donation is appreciated.
