In the current market buyers are paying more for houses that are trendy. A lot more. Because Arcadia has more houses that are being completely remodeled than Scottsdale they are seeing appreciation sky rocket.
Scottsdale homes that are nice – upgraded from the days of brass and oak – still aren’t trendy enough as a whole to keep prices climbing. It seems Tuscan is leaving the “top dollar” trend behind too. We’re now helping our clients paint or redoor cabinets throughout their homes, update flooring and lighting, and paint colors to get back to the “top dollar” category.
