I’ve also spent the past year getting my GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute), which is considered the nation’s number one nationally recognized professional real estate designation. It’s basically an MBA for Realtors. It can be earned only by members of National Association of REALTORS® completing a minimum of 90 hours of coursework through these subjects:
- Sales Process: Business Development, sales and marketing, customer and client service, and cultural diversity.
- Legal and Regulatory: Fair housing, brokerage relationships, contracts, and environmental issues.
- Technology: Communications, general technology, and real estate business technology.
- Professional Standards: NAR Code of Ethics and Standards, arbitration, and mediation.
I love to learn and earn the right and ability to help others learn about the real estate market, the communities in our area, and the buying and selling process.
