My husband and I and some friends decided to go to Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers in the Grayhawk Plaza, located at 20831 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 117, to have some burgers and watch our favorite college football team play on one of the 15 high definition plasma TV’s. When we arrived, the place was bustling with college football fans and the beer was flowing as we made our selection from over 60 choices of bottled or draft beers. We immediately ordered a few appetizers and we settled in for a fun night of friends and football.
Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers has a menu that will please just about everyone, including classic sandwiches, salad options, veggie burgers, hot dogs, and of course such burger choices as the BYOB (build your own burger), Monster Double Burger, the CB & CB burger with caramelized onions and gruyere cheese, and the Juicy Lucy, just to name a few.
Our server was attentive and our drinks were refilled regularly. When our game of choice was not on one of the television sets, the manager quickly found it and put it on two of the TV’s so we could see it from more than one angle.
Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers is nicely situated in Grayhawk and is convenient for those who want to walk or ride their bike. Stepping into this restaurant is like stepping back in time to an old -fashioned burger joint where your neighbors and friends hang out and everyone knows your name.
