The spirit of Desert Sun Academy’s students is reflected in one resourceful third graders’ quest to raise money for an indoor climbing wall, especially for the hot North Scottsdale Real Estate months at the beginning and end of the school year.
The students are literally “climbing the walls” and loving it. They are proud their friend decided to raise money to get the climbing wall for the school. The little girl had a cookie and lemonade stand that raised a small amount. Then, at the suggestion of a her brother’s friend, she wrote to Clif Bar and they sent her 300 bars to sell in a fundraiser.
The Cave Creek Unified School District has the distinct characteristic of an “All Excelling Schools” district.
